Moelwyn Male Voice Choir at Stables Bistro Bar North Wales

Moelwyn Male Voice Choir

Originally Male Voice Choirs drew their members entirely from the local slate quarries. Nowadays, the members are drawn from a large area of North Wales and from a variety of occupations- all with one thing in common - the love of good music.

An eclectic repertoire

Choirs were very closely associated with the non-conformist chapels and rousing hymn tunes such as Gwahoddiad and Arwelfa - always firm favorites with audiences world wide. Neither would a Welsh male voice choir's repertoire be complete without old favorites such as Men of Harlech, All Through the Night and Myfanwy. But new and equally challenging music stands alongside old favourites.

The choir also performs over the Christmas period in our special ‘Carols and Candles’ evenings.
